Choosing where AI can genuinely save time

Look for repetitive work, clear business context and trusted information before adding AI to a workflow.

The best AI use cases are usually unglamorous: summarising, classifying, drafting and looking things up across systems people already use.

Start with the work, not the technology

  • Look for repetitive tasks with clear inputs, outputs and ownership.
  • Use trusted business data before adding more tools or models.
  • Keep people in the loop where judgement, approval or customer context matters.

Useful automation should remove friction from existing work. If it adds another process to manage, the problem has probably not been simplified enough yet.
